As a leading voice of military women and veterans. The Service Women’s Action Network (SWAN) promotes personal and social transformation for a peaceful world.
The Service Women’s Action Network supports and develops the leadership of veterans, mentors young women considering military service, works to solve problems facing women in uniform, and provides and promotes services that are healing to women after their military service experience. SWAN establishes a worldwide network of military women, veterans and allies to provide lasting support, community and resources.
The main benefactor from tonights performance will be the Service Women's Action Network.
At the Settlement Home for Children, we believe that healing and learning take place when a child's deepest needs are met, both physically and mentally. We are dedicated to helping children who have been abused and neglected by resolving their emotional, behavioral and familial problems and providing quality residential care.
This network of community activists is dedicated to helping women and girls living in New Orleans and the Gulf South or returning there to rebuild their lives. The Katrina Warriors Network is working collaboratively with V-Day to unite, activate, involve, and transform the women of the New Orleans and Gulf South community, forming a structure that will last through the rebuilding and beyond.
